Casa da Lagoa combines the character of a historic chalet with the comfort of a house prepared for family stays or time with friends.
The living room is the warm centre of the house, with a fireplace, timber details, and natural light. The entire house is private for guests. The entrance leads to the living room, ground-floor bathroom, and stairs. All three bedrooms are on the first floor, with no lift.
The dining room opens onto a balcony with a direct view over Lagoa das Furnas, one of the house's most memorable spots. It is a natural place for slow breakfasts, late-afternoon reading, or simply watching the water and garden.
The kitchen is set up for independent stays, from a simple meal after the hot springs to relaxed dinners at home. A ground-floor bathroom adds everyday convenience and is practical when hosting visitors during a stay.
The main suite sits on the first floor with a calm, private atmosphere. It is the house's most secluded bedroom, with a double bed and a private bathroom included in the comfort of the stay.
A romantic bedroom with an antique iron bed, decorative bed curtains, and Lagoa das Furnas directly in view when you wake. It has its own character, made for a stay that feels more distinctive than a conventional bedroom.
A quiet, adaptable bedroom that can be prepared with two single beds or one double bed, depending on the stay. It shares a bathroom with the lake-view bedroom and helps the house welcome families or friends with more flexibility.
